To support our continued growth across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, we are seeking an experienced EMEA Business Development Manager to own and scale our regional business development engine. This is a leadership role with genuine ownership. You will be responsible for building predictable, high-quality pipeline across EMEA through a balanced inbound and outbound motion, with a strong emphasis on Account-Based Marketing (ABM). You will lead, develop, and inspire a multi-country BDR team while working closely with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps to ensure alignment from first touch to closed deal.
Responsibilities
- Lead EMEA Business Development: Own business development strategy and execution across multiple EMEA markets, cultures, and buying behaviours.
- Act as the regional point of accountability for BDR performance, forecasting, and pipeline creation.
- Align regional priorities with global revenue objectives in partnership with Sales and Marketing leadership.
- Own Inbound Lead Excellence: Oversee inbound lead qualification, routing, and follow-up to ensure speed, consistency, and quality.
- Partner with Marketing to optimise lead scoring, conversion rates, and funnel performance.
- Ensure high-intent leads are acted on promptly and never lost to process gaps.
- Build a Scalable Outbound & ABM Motion: Design, execute, and continuously improve outbound prospecting strategies with ABM at the core.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to define and prioritise high-value target accounts.
- Enable multi-threaded, multi-channel outreach across email, phone, and LinkedIn.
- Use data, testing, and insight to refine messaging, sequencing, and targeting.
- Develop and Lead a High-Performing Team: Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop a high-performing EMEA BDR team.
- Set clear KPIs, expectations, and career progression paths.
- Run regular performance reviews, pipeline inspections, and coaching sessions.
- Foster a culture of accountability, curiosity, and resilience.
- Own Performance, Reporting, and Forecasting: Track and report on pipeline creation, conversion rates, activity levels, and revenue influence.
- Provide accurate forecasting and clear visibility to senior leadership.
- Identify risks and opportunities early, before they appear in quarterly reviews.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development, including 3+ years managing BDR/SDR teams.
- Proven experience leading teams across multiple regions or markets.
- Strong understanding of inbound sales motions and outbound prospecting methodologies.
- Hands-on experience designing and executing ABM strategies.
- Experience with CRM and sales engagement platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, 6sense, or similar.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into action.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages such as German or French are highly valued.
Preferred
- Experience selling into multiple EMEA markets.
- Background in SaaS or high-growth B2B environments.
- Demonstrated ability to build scalable processes or repair those that looked excellent on a slide deck.
