We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will play an important role in supporting the company’s continued growth and success. You will be responsible for generating revenue, developing client relationships, and helping drive new business opportunities. Acting as a key point of contact for potential clients, you will deliver excellent service by understanding their needs and supporting projects from initial enquiry through to completion.
You will have experience within a sales environment, with a strong ability to build relationships, identify opportunities, and contribute to sales strategies that support revenue growth and business development. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to help achieve team targets and deliver exceptional client experiences.
You will be confident in identifying and developing new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and maintaining strong connections with suppliers and stakeholders. You will support the sales process from lead generation through to proposal creation, contract negotiation, and closing deals.
You will represent the company at industry events and work closely with internal teams and suppliers to develop competitive pricing and tailored event proposals. You will understand the value of marketing and collaborate with the marketing team on promotional campaigns and client communications.
You will be responsible for generating revenue through a combination of reactive and proactive sales activity. This includes responding to inbound enquiries, converting leads into business opportunities, and actively identifying, targeting, and securing new clients through outbound business development. You will be confident building a sales pipeline, nurturing relationships, and creating opportunities that contribute to the company's growth objectives.
You will work closely with the operations team to ensure venues and events meet company standards, health and safety requirements, and event management best practices, including risk management procedures.
Experience within the events and/or hospitality industries would be highly desirable, alongside a proven ability to achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential, together with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is also required.
