The Group Managing Director will rely on you for your support in many areas including acting as gatekeeper for diary management, associated travel, agenda planning, and general meeting preparations. You must have excellent written skills and be able to anticipate the needs of the Managing Director, proactively identifying solutions before issues arise. You will be experienced in taking minutes, producing comprehensive actions, and following up with individuals.

Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, clients, and partners, demonstrating professionalism and discretion at all times. You must be organised and willing to get involved in other parts of the business, assisting with organising company talks and supporting project/event delivery. You will possess a professional telephone manner, answering and directing telephone calls and managing the GMD's email inbox, responding when necessary.

You will be experienced in document production – client packs, presentations, proofreading, and formatting, so an eye for detail is essential. Coordinate any bookings with a good understanding of high-end restaurants, bars, venues, and hospitality arrangements for meetings and events. You will perform some financial admin tasks such as processing invoices, updating trackers, and preparing reports. You will be managing a digital file system, ensuring an efficient process is in place and files can be accessed with ease. Adept in Microsoft Office.

Work closely with the Office Manager to ensure the office environment remains organized, professional, and welcoming. You will be greeting visitors and clients, enjoy proactive thinking, and be solutions-focused. Undertake additional ad hoc duties and diary management as required to support the Chairman as necessary.

Minimum of 3 years' experience supporting C-suite executives, exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills, high levels of discretion and emotional intelligence, and a strong proactive attitude are required.
