Psychology Services Group is expanding to develop a specialist treatment management service to support the delivery of the accredited programme Building Choices, alongside other rehabilitative activities in prisons. This role is part of a clinical service aimed at reducing reoffending and protecting the public.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality oversight, facilitation and delivery of Accredited Programmes and related interventions in custody that address offending behaviour.
- Deliver moderate and high intensity interventions in group or individual formats, including provision for those with learning difficulties and challenges.
- Travel to other prisons across the Midlands region as required to support Offending Behaviour Programme delivery, in line with MOJ travel and subsistence policy.
- Report to and work under the psychology line, supporting professional development.
Qualifications
- Experience delivering every element of an accredited Intervention Services programme at least twice to an excellent standard.
- Training in the delivery of an accredited Interventions Services programme.
- Proven ability to maintain and uphold accredited programme standards and evidence for effective interventions.
- Good written and spoken English skills.
- Ability to work within a scheduled 37‑hour per week full‑time framework, with flexibility as required.
