A Community Payback Coordinator supports the CP Manager to ensure all Community Payback placements meet policy objectives, comply with relevant legislation and quality standards set out in the Community Payback Guidance. The role involves establishing and maintaining relationships with partner organisations, customers and stakeholders, including voluntary and statutory organisations, to deliver work placements that enable the sentence of the Court to be carried out effectively. The post holder may be required to work weekends as part of the normal pattern of work and will receive a higher rate for weekend days.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the CP Manager in planning and monitoring Community Payback placements.
- Build and maintain relationships with current and future partner organisations.
- Ensure placements meet the quality standards set out in the Community Payback Guidance.
- Work with voluntary and statutory organisations to secure suitable placements.
- Assist with project risk assessments, beneficiary meetings and site visits, including those that are only accessible on weekends.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting for all placements.
Requirements
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence – an automatic Driving Licence is not acceptable.
- Right to work in the UK and be employed by the Civil Service.
- Eligibility to work under the Skilled Worker visa rules before 22 July 2025 is required if you have a Skilled Worker visa.
