Operational Support Officers deliver day‑to‑day customer service and administrative support across HMCTS court and tribunal sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Progress cases through the court/tribunal system, preparing papers, files and digital records.
  • Communicate with members of the public, judiciary, legal professionals and external agencies.
  • Support smooth running of court proceedings, including preparing hearing rooms.
  • Act as the first point of contact for court users and, where required, deal with vulnerable witnesses and their legal representatives.
