Forensic Psychological Services, HMPPS (Her Majesty's Prison and Probation Service) in Wales is seeking a registered practitioner to join our expanding team.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a diverse offending population across Wales' public sector prisons and National Probation Service community settings.
  • Conduct complex risk assessments and provide interventions.
  • Develop and deliver training programmes.
  • Oversee research projects and provide consultancy to stakeholders, including Welsh Government, NHS, Police, Youth Justice and academia.
  • Collaborate with partners across the sector to influence policy and practice.

Qualifications

  • Registered Psychologist with HCPC for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Relevant forensic experience and evidence of experience in risk assessment and interventions.
  • Strong communication, leadership and quality service management skills.

Hybrid working arrangements are available where business needs allow. The role is based in the UK and may involve travel to HMPPS sites.
