As a PSO, you\’ll work with medium and lower risk clients, managing a caseload of offenders before and after sentence. Your responsibilities include assessing and managing risks, providing information to courts, and collaborating with justice agencies. You\’ll support offenders by offering practical advice on housing and employment, and by listening and empathising.
The job involves undertaking offender management tasks, supporting the Probation Officer in high-risk cases, and contributing to risk management plans.
