The role is based at Diadem House in Preston with an expectation of covering activities across Lancashire. The position supports the CP Manager to ensure all Community Payback placements meet the policy objectives and comply with relevant legislation, helping people on probation complete their sentences effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain working relationships with a range of stakeholders, including local authorities, charities, voluntary and statutory organisations.
- Secure sufficient numbers of Community Payback work placements that meet the quality standards set out in the Community Payback Guidance.
- Provide weekend duty cover on a rota basis, with additional toec/flexi and enhanced weekend pay.
- Conduct weekend visits to project sites (e.g., schools) to complete risk assessments and meet beneficiaries.
- Assist the CP Manager in ensuring all placements comply with legislation and policy guidelines.
Working Pattern
- Minimum of 60% of the working week in an office; may vary based on operational requirements.
- Regular weekend working as part of the normal pattern, with a higher pay rate for weekend days.
- Hybrid working arrangements where business need allows (base office, MoJ sites or home).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence – automatic licence only is not accepted.
- Right to work in the UK. Skilled Worker visa holders must have held a visa prior to 22 July 2025; otherwise, eligibility will be assessed in accordance with immigration rules.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
