Salary: £37,417 – £39,214 pro‐rated. Part‐time 18.5 hours per week with flexible attendance.
Location: Maidstone, Kent, Surrey & Sussex.
Post type: Permanent, Grade HEO.
Responsibilities:
- Provide cover duties for the Kent, Surrey & Sussex regional health safety & fire team.
- Attend scheduled duties as agreed with the line manager, based on business need.
- Complete residential training courses, which may exceed the normal 18.5 hours.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Only existing Civil Servant employees and employees of accredited non‐departmental public bodies (NDPBs) may apply.
- Subject to security and identity checks before appointment.
- Probationary period: 6 months for external candidates; internal candidates as per HMPPS policy.
- Must be able to declare membership of groups or organisations considered racist by HMPPS.
