Overview
As a Prison Digital Services Administrator, you will support the management and ongoing support of Launchpad and digital services including laptops and accessories.
You will report to the Digital and Communications Manager and the role is non‑operational with no line management responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Support the safe management and allocation of digital devices and accessories on site.
- Complete basic technical troubleshooting and appropriately escalated issues.
- Facilitate new reception induction activities in YP rooms.
- Provide adoption, support and training to all user groups on site and support future deployments.
- Assist the Prison Digital & Communications Manager with producing and publishing local content.
- Adhere to safeguarding policies and ensure training in safeguarding is completed and current.
Qualifications
- DBS Enhanced Security Clearance (SC) or willingness to obtain.
- Experience in IT troubleshooting.
- Proficient writing skills and experience in written, audio and visual communications.
- Experience filming and editing audio and visual content.
- Experience working within a prison establishment (desirable).
- Experience with digital and technology platforms and content planning.
- Experience using content management systems.
