- Protect the public and maintain safety within the prison.
- Build positive relationships with prisoners, including counselling, teaching or other support roles.
- Collaborate with colleagues as part of an effective team to uphold safety.
- Perform various duties as required during shift work.

- Meet Civil Service nationality requirements and have lived in the UK for the last 3 years for Counter‑Terrorism Check.
- Pass medical, fitness, eyesight and hearing assessments.

- 37 hours a week = £33,746 a year
- 39 hours a week = £35,875 a year
