Our Team Leaders play a critical role in delivering justice. You will develop leadership skills while ensuring your team delivers excellent administrative support and customer service to service users, judiciary and management. The role supports the newly formed Operational Support Compliance Team, working with Legal Advisors to manage busy court cases across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the operational support compliance team, prioritising and organising work to meet objectives.
  • Motivate and support the team to achieve effective performance and high-quality customer service.
  • Contribute to the delivery of operational, performance and service standard targets.
  • Provide statistical data to the management team and judiciary.
  • Monitor and analyse performance areas and trends, reviewing procedures and work practices.
  • Recommend and manage the implementation of improvements, new initiatives and legislative changes.
  • Ensure the smooth running of operational functions throughout HMCTS.
  • Maintain the well-being of the team and foster a positive working culture.

Qualifications

  • Experience of leading a team in a customer-focused, administrative environment.
  • IT proficiency and the ability to learn new technologies and software packages.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and support a team to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Knowledge of HMCTS operational procedures and court functions is advantageous.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and change management.
