Case Administrator – Probation Service
Case Administrators play a vital support role in probation teams, helping to keep the public safe and providing offenders with the chance to turn their lives around.

Key responsibilities
- Ensure all processes run efficiently and systems are maintained properly.
- Collate and prepare probation information for case files.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, agencies and people on probation in a busy environment.
- Support probation staff in the management of written and electronic case records.
- Maintain accurate, timely and compliant records for all administrative tasks.
- Provide administrative support to court, prison, PDU and other Probation Service functions as required.
Qualifications and requirements
- Right to work in the United Kingdom (including applicable visa conditions).
- Strong organisational, communication and time‑management skills.
- Experience in an office or administrative environment is desirable.
- Aged 18 years or older; a criminal record check is required.
- Working arrangements
The Mo J offers hybrid working arrangements where business need allows.
Some roles may require you to be based at a Mo J office location or on site.
Working hours are usually 37 hours per week, with flexible patterns such as part‑time, job‑sharing and flexible arrangements available where appropriate.
