Overview

This Community Payback Supervisor role is based in East Sussex, covering Hastings and Eastbourne offices.

Location

Hastings & Eastbourne, East Sussex.

Working Pattern

Full- or part-time. Working days are 7:00 to 16:45 with weekend shifts. You will work a 37-hour week (4 days of 9.25 hours) and must include at least one weekend day. An allowance for travel between offices within the region is provided.

Driving Licence

A full UK manual driving licence (Category D1 Minibus) is mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-placement unpaid work induction sessions.
  • Lead daily toolbox talks to ensure all service users understand task and safe working practice.
  • Follow work directions within the project placement file.
  • Ensure health & safety procedures are followed and risk assessments are reviewed.
  • Manage service users to complete work in a disciplined manner.
  • Maintain accurate case management records.
  • Work towards accreditation as a workplace assessor.
  • Promote Community Payback with colleagues, agencies and the public.

Qualifications

  • Full UK manual driving licence.
  • Experience of supervising or leading teams.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of health & safety and risk management.
  • Previous experience in probation, community work or similar is desirable.
