We're recruiting for a Product Manager here at Justice Digital, to be part of our warm and collaborative Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO) team. This role aligns against Product Manager from the Government Digital and Data Framework. As a Product Manager in the Data Platform Services team, you will be joining a multidisciplinary team of approximately 40 digital & data professionals that develop and support a suite of data‑centric products. These services support the MOJ's data strategy and its ambition to become a truly data‑led organisation by providing the critical infrastructure for 600+ data & analytical staff, enabling them to securely access, analyse, and explore data from across the department.
Location: London – 10 South Colonnade, E14 4PU.
Responsibilities
- Become experienced in all aspects of Product Management.
- Be the subject matter expert/owner of a single product/problem space and have a good understanding of product life cycle, being able to work independently in any phase of product delivery.
- Work with data professionals (data analysts/engineers/scientists) across the department to develop and improve products in support of the organisation’s data strategy.
- Work with the business to understand their business and user problems. Champion users’ needs, determine the changes needed & define scope; present evidence‑based decisions and escalates issues only when necessary.
- Ensure products are of high quality, provide direction and prioritise the work for the product team.
- Define a product level strategy to support Senior/Lead Product Managers on overall strategic direction.
- Engage in self‑development of self and others.
- Engage and communicate effectively with all colleagues and stakeholders e.g. business areas, external stakeholders, across cross‑functional team(s) and MoJ teams.
- Execute agreed policies, proactively engage with Policy colleagues/stakeholders to ensure that product meets the policy intent.

Salary
Base salary for this role is from £58,511 to £65,329 (National) or £63,343 to £70,725 (London).
