This role covers a variation of workstreams which include Complaints, Review Committee, CPD and Post Accreditation checking. You will support the Member Standards & Conduct Manager with complaint investigation and responses, the organisation of Review Committee and in the delivery of CPD Programme and Post Accreditation Programmes, providing relevant administration support. You will assist to close learning loops obtained from member standards outcomes, Review Committee and Complaints that feed into the delivery of CPD programmes for members to support Post Accreditation development.
Each EO will be assigned areas of responsibility but should know and understand other areas to build resilience. You are primarily responsible for Member Standards at the Board, assisting in providing members with the capability, support and personal resources available to carry out their role. This covers the workstreams of Complaints, Review Committee, CPD and Post Accreditation Programmes. You will be responsible for logging and drafting complaint responses, supporting the preparation, delivery and follow‑up of Review Committee work, and supporting colleagues working flexibly and building resilience across workstreams.
Primary deliverables in the first 6 months of the role:
- Assist in providing analysis gained from complaint data, review committee outcomes and post accreditation feedback to allow the Manager to address identified themes and implement solutions in future CPD learning.
- Promote the learning gathered from committees and workstreams and share with membership to promote good practice.
- Assist in the administration to support the delivery of a post‑accreditation member standards process.
- Deal with issues identified by members through the Conduct and Competency Flag Process to identify gaps in standards.
- Assist in the administration and logistics to deliver a CPD programme on specific deadlines.

Main duties:
- Strategic Leadership: Identify trends within complaint data to inform guidance and learning practices. Support Managers to deliver quality standards across the Parole Board. Continuously seek to improve systems and processes for handling complaints.
- Member Standards: Support the Senior Member Standards & Conduct Manager and Head of Capability. Ensure timely and accurate responses to complaints. Oversee accurate and up‑to‑date records for complaints and track progress. Collate insight from complaints to feed back into training and quality assurance. Support Review Committee preparation and action outcomes. Support development and delivery of CPD and post‑accreditation standards and assurance process for members. Monitor and analyse outcomes and data to identify issues and trends for improvement and CPD.
- Learning and Development: Assist with the administration and support of CPD training to ensure delivery of standards. Create learning from Member Standards assessments and committees to support management improvement. Work with the Capability Team on core member and staff training.
- Relationship Building: Collaborate with staff across directorates to investigate and respond to complaints. Maintain excellent working relationships with members. Support training across CPD and Post Accreditation Programmes.
- Other Responsibilities: Support other tasks appropriate to the role as assigned by the Manager or Head of Capability.
