About us
HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) is responsible for the administration of criminal, civil and family Courts and Tribunals in England and Wales. We support court users and colleagues to access justice. We are looking for committed public servants to deliver justice.
Your role
Operational Support Officers provide excellent customer service and administrative support to court and tribunal users, judiciary and management. You will work as part of a team, progress cases, and meet service standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare papers and files for court, tribunals, hearings and meetings, including handling sensitive information.
- Create and update digital records accurately.
- Communicate with the Public, Judiciary, other Court and Tribunal Users and Representatives of other Agencies.
- Serve as first point of contact for court users, including vulnerable witnesses and their legal representatives.
- Prepare court and hearing rooms, ensuring courts run efficiently.
