This vacancy is part-time – 18.5 hours per week based in The Pines Approved Premise and is not suitable for hybrid working. Approved Premises (AP) are residential units primarily for offenders released on license who require high supervision. The AP plays a key role in supporting these offenders’ transition from custody into the community. Case Administrators support probation teams by helping to keep the public safe and giving people a chance to turn their lives around.

Case Administrators play an important role in the Probation Service, supporting probation staff to work with people on probation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring that all processes run efficiently and that systems are maintained properly.
  • Collating and preparing probation information for case files.
  • Using strong communication skills to handle enquiries from colleagues, agencies and people on probation in a busy environment.
