Our Operations Managers play a crucial role delivering justice, accountable for day‑to‑day operations at the Birmingham Civil and Family Justice Centre. The role reports to the Deputy Head of Operations and supports the strategic oversight of the Centre, fostering strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring customer‑focused, efficient service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Delivery Managers to provide a consistent, customer‑focused service.
- Collaborate with other Operations Managers in the region to manage conflicting demands and reprioritise local and regional goals.
- Ensure effective deployment of resources and manage an allocated budget to control delegated expenditure, driving efficiencies.
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations, driving continuous improvement and organisational change.
- Ensure compliance with HMCTS policies and Standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in a senior operations or management role, preferably within a complex, multi‑stakeholder environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of leading teams through change.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to maintain relationships at all levels.
- Experience in budget management and resource allocation.

Working Arrangements
- Standard full‑time working hours are 37 hours per week.
