Our Operational Support Officers provide exceptional customer service and key administrative support to court and tribunal users, judiciary and management. Working within a team, you will progress cases through the court/tribunal system and ensure smooth court proceedings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing court and tribunal papers and files, handling sensitive information with accuracy.
  • Creating and updating electronic case records accurately.
  • Communicating with the public, the judiciary and other court users.
  • Supporting court proceedings and preparing hearing rooms to ensure efficient operations.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for court users, including vulnerable witnesses.

Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service skills and experience in a customer-facing environment.
  • Good digital and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and organisational skills, comfortable in person, telephone and written communication.
  • Resilience and empathy to handle sensitive information and situations.
  • Team player capable of working collaboratively and flexibly to deliver objectives.
