Job Summary
The Change Manager is accountable for leading the people side of change to ensure organisational initiatives deliver the intended outcomes. The role applies a structured, evidence‑based change management approach, focusing on individuals' experience, adoption and sustaining change.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the People Side of Change: Apply a structured change management approach, diagnose impacts and readiness, design and own proportionate change strategies and plans.
- Drive Adoption, Usage and Proficiency: Define success, manage resistance, monitor adoption and adjust interventions.
- Enable Leaders, Sponsors and Managers: Coach senior sponsors, equip line managers and advise on leadership behaviours.
- Integrate Change with Delivery: Partner with project, product and delivery colleagues, run change readiness assessments and influence delivery decisions.
- Assure Benefits Realisation and Sustainability: Support transition to business as usual, contribute to benefits realisation and capture learning.
Essential Knowledge, Experience and Skills
- Planning, coordinating or delivering change activity in a complex organisation.
- Assess impacts, risks, dependencies and readiness, using evidence to inform decisions.
- Experience working with a wide range of people, including senior leaders and operational colleagues.
- Effective communication of complex information to varied audiences.
- Producing clear, high-quality plans, reporting or governance material.
- Managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment with accuracy.
- Supporting adoption, implementation or continuous improvement of new ways of working.
