Senior Registered Psychologist - Psychology Services – Southeast & East in Arundel

A Senior Registered Psychologist – Band 8 220 (SRP) position is available in the South East & East Psychology Services team. The role supports a wide range of responsibilities across community settings and Category B, C and D prisons. Flexible working arrangements are encouraged, with a hybrid model available where business needs allow.

Responsibilities

• Consult and deliver psychological services in community and prison settings, including Building Choices, Safety, Extremism/Pathfinder and other specialist areas.
• Conduct clinical assessments, develop treatment plans and provide interventions to support individuals’ mental health and wellbeing.
• Line-manage and supervise staff and undertake coordination of clinical supervision for trainees on recognised training routes.
• Participate in peer supervision and enable professional development across the South East & East area.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 18 months post-registration experience in Psychology (must have 2 years at appointment).
• Professional background in Psychology.
• Experience delivering clinical supervision.
• Completed training in effective models of treatment and best practice.
• Ontario likely to be a Chartered Psychologist and full member of the relevant BPS division if required.

Working Arrangements

The role is primarily based at one of the MoJ office locations or a Justice Collaboration Centre, with hybrid working arrangements where appropriate. All work must be performed within the UK.
