The predicted salary is between 29107 - 30648 £ per year.
You will oversee the work of offenders to prepare and cook quality, nutritional meals for the entire prison. You will also support them in turning their lives around by helping them learn new skills and work toward gaining qualifications to improve employment prospects and reduce the likelihood of reoffending upon release. You will work a 37-hour week, Monday to Friday, core day hours only.
Qualifications
- Level 2 certificate in food production within hospitality and catering or equivalent
- Food hygiene certificate at Level 2
- Familiarity with current health, safety and hygiene regulations for working in a kitchen
- Competency as demonstrated in an industrial kitchen environment
- Ability to speak with confidence in English
Please note refresher training in food safety (HACCP) should be completed at three-year intervals.
Salary: £29,107 – £30,648 per annum.
