Responsibilities
Supervise work groups of offenders serving a community sentence.
Drive service vehicles to transport people or equipment.
Carry out all work-site supervision tasks.
Work with service users to ensure tasks are completed to the best of their ability.
Demonstrate good practice and provide guidance as necessary.
Working Pattern
The role involves up to seven working hours supervising a group at a Community Payback unpaid work placement. Weekend working may be required as part of the normal pattern. Coverage of some evenings may be requested. Weekend days worked are remunerated at a higher rate of 50%.
Salary and Career Progression
Starting salary: £26,475. Pay progression is available through a Competency Based Framework (CBF) and annual increases aligned with Civil Service Pay guidance.
