Band 8 Senior Psychologist based at HMP Northumberland.
NE&Y psychology team provide a psychology service to HMP Northumberland, privately managed prison. The post holder will be involved in the oversight of psychology provision to Northumberland, and monitoring and supporting delivery of agreed services. This will require good working relationships with the Northumberland senior leadership team.
The post holder will also be integrated within the wider NE&Y psychology team, with a diverse range of opportunities available, including supporting the development of trainee psychologists, assessment, intervention, training, research and consultancy tasks. Work may be allocated in other prisons across NE&Y and the community. Hybrid working will be supported.
