Court Registry Officer - Christchurch, 8 Month Fixed Term
As a Court Registry Officer, you are an important cog in the justice machine. You will work with a team responsible for the successful operation of the Court and liaise with multiple stakeholders including members of the judiciary, lawyers, and the public.
Responsibilities
- Case management: ensuring files are accurate and up to date, involving a large component of data entry and sound decision‑making.
- Court taking: running the court, including opening court sessions in English and Te Reo Māori, working closely with the Judiciary in the courtroom and in chambers, and general administration of the court.
- Customer Service: interacting with customers on any court‑related matter, responding to face‑to‑face, phone or email queries.

Remuneration
The remuneration band for this role is $60,729 to $80,794 prorata – the appointing salary will be based on skills and experience.
