We are looking for a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team maintaining a large-scale MoD estate in South Wales. The primary focus of this role is to ensure high-quality internal and external finishes across various buildings on the site. While the priority is painting and decorating, the ideal candidate will also possess general handyman skills to assist with minor maintenance tasks when required.
- Primary: Preparing surfaces (sanding, filling, stripping wallpaper) and applying paint, varnish, or wallpaper to a high standard.
- Primary: Carrying out internal and external decorating works on residential, office, and specialised site buildings.
- Secondary: Performing basic handyman repairs, such as minor carpentry, fixing fixtures, or basic patch repairs.
- Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and site-specific protocols.
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace, particularly when working in occupied areas of the estate.
Experience: Proven experience as a professional Painter and Decorator.
Versatility: A can-do attitude towards general maintenance and minor repairs.
