The Partner Sales Director – Germany & UK will be responsible for developing, managing, and expanding the company’s partner ecosystem to drive revenue growth in both regions. This strategic role involves close collaboration with resellers, distributors, system integrators, and cloud partners to deliver joint business outcomes. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated sales leader with a deep understanding of the storage, infrastructure, or cloud market across Germany and the UK.
What You Will Do
- Define and execute regional partner strategies that align with overall sales objectives in Germany and the UK.
- Recruit and onboard new high-potential partners, including VARs, OEM\’s, distributors, and GSI\’s.
- Strengthen strategic relationships with existing partners through regular business planning and joint go-to-market initiatives.
- Drive partner-led and partner-influenced revenue by enabling partner sales and technical teams.
- Collaborate with internal sales teams to develop and execute joint account plans with key partners.
- Create scalable enablement and incentive programs that drive engagement and growth.
Market Expertise & Regional Insight
- Bring strong knowledge of the data storage, hybrid cloud, and data management ecosystem across Germany and the UK.
- Understand regional market dynamics, compliance requirements, and customer buying behavior.
- Act as a regional spokesperson for the partner program in Germany and the UK.
Operational Excellence
- Track and report partner performance metrics, pipeline development, and forecast accuracy.
- Ensure partner compliance with company policies, pricing models, and sales processes.
- Leverage internal tools (CRM, PRM) for accurate reporting and business reviews.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, sales engineering, product, and customer success to drive partner success.
- Participate in regional industry events, partner summits, and trade shows to represent the company and grow brand presence.
Your Skills and Experience
- 8+ years of experience in partner sales, channel management, or alliances in the enterprise IT or data storage industry.
- Proven track record of building and scaling successful partner ecosystems in Germany and/or the UK.
- Strong understanding of go-to-market motions with VARs, MSPs, GSIs, and distributors.
- Deep knowledge of cloud, storage, or data infrastructure technologies and buying cycles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and (preferably) German.
- Ability to work independently across multiple geographies with a strong results-driven mindset.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the region (25–40%).
- Experience working with key regional partners such as Fujitsu, Computacenter, and Softcat.
- Familiarity with data storage industry (AWS, NetApp, Cloudera) and hybrid storage offerings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus.
