Your Purpose:
- Experience in either, Built Environment, Infrastructure and/or Regeneration projects.
- In-depth knowledge of stakeholder management principles, public relations, and industry standards.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Prior experience within a transportation or a rail project involving multiple contractors would be favourable.
What you can bring:
Stakeholder Management – (Essential) – Responsible for creating and executing stakeholder strategies for bespoke projects, to maximise engagement and support to achieve project objectives.
- Identify, develop and maintain relationships with all project stakeholders and targeted groups, including clients, suppliers, partners and targeted groups.
- Collaborate with a multi-matrix of internal contacts to develop and integrate strategies and tactics to achieve workstream and project outcomes.
- Acting as a point of contract between client projects and their stakeholders, ensuring clear communications and understanding of goals and objectives.
- Develop, monitor and update the accuracy of project logs, reports and data related to stakeholder activity.
- Drafting reports and presentations to communicate to a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Project Communications – (Essential) – Responsible for providing excellence in communication delivery to support planning and engineering delivery and communication project milestones.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, the Corporate Communications function and project partners, developing and executing communications handling plans across the project life cycle, which identifies and addresses the key communication challenges.
- Strong editing skills and an exceptional eye for detail.
- Create engaging, informative and creative content to maximise communications opportunities to convey project information and updates that are aligned to the brand, values and tone of voice.
- Select and use appropriate platforms, tools, templates and methodology to create communications materials suitable to the targeted audience.
- Support Project Managers in project status updates, presentations to senior management and sponsoring department on all project communications, achieving the relevant sign-off.
Social Value – (Desirable) – Responsible for advising and supporting client needs and in their knowledge and application of Social Value.
- Advising and implementing strategic and tactical delivery of social value obligations.
- Partnership, supply chain and broker development, including event and activity management.
- Deploying innovative and impactful social value activity embedding best practice.
