About the Role
We are looking for a commercially minded Brand Marketing Manager to lead the growth, consistency, and impact of our brand across multiple channels. This is a pivotal role in shaping how customers, partners, and the wider market experience and connect with our brand. You will be responsible for building a strong and engaged community, driving brand storytelling, exploring new marketing strategies, and ensuring every touchpoint reflects our values and vision.
This is a highly visible role, working cross-functionally with senior leadership, sales, marketing, product, and operations, with the opportunity to present in board meetings and contribute to the wider commercial strategy.With over 100% year-on-year online growth, the role is an exciting opportunity to a part of one of the UKβs fastest growing brands.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Leadership
- Own and evolve the brand strategy, ensuring it aligns with business growth objectives..
- Present brand performance and insights in board meetings, providing commercially relevant recommendations.
- Act as the voice of the consumer, feeding brand insights into wider business and product strategy.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Manage and develop the Content Manager setting clear objectives and KPIs.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and regular feedback to ensure team members grow in their roles.
- Collaborate with other departments (sales, operations, product) to support cross-functional projects.
Content, Storytelling & Community Building
- Develop and manage a brand content calendar to deliver consistent and engaging messaging.
- Build and nurture a loyal community of advocates, customers, and influencers.
- Collaborate with design, marketing, and external creatives to deliver high-quality campaigns.
Social Media & Digital Presence
- Oversee organic social media growth and engagement across all platforms.
- Lead on building out a TikTok growth strategy, including creative content ideas, partnerships, and community engagement.
- Spot cultural and industry trends to create reactive, high-impact content that resonates with TikTok and other social audiences.
- Set clear KPIs for reach, engagement, and follower growth, reporting back to leadership.
- Align organic and paid media strategies to maximise reach and ROI.
PR & Communications
- Lead and deliver the PR strategy, securing regular coverage in relevant publications, podcasts, and media outlets.
- Build strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and partners.
- Manage press releases, media kits, and spokesperson preparation.
- Develop thought leadership opportunities for the brand and leadership team.
Retail & Trade Brand Support
- Ensure the brand is retail-ready with compelling packaging, point-of-sale materials, and campaign toolkits.
- Support retail partners with brand assets and activation ideas to drive sell-through.
- Ensure consistency of brand execution across retail, DTC, and B2B touchpoints.
Innovation & Growth
- Explore and test new marketing strategies, platforms, and brand partnerships to accelerate brand growth.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends in digital, experiential, and influencer marketing.
- Run small-scale pilots and experiments to identify scalable opportunities.
- Explore brand collaborations and partnerships that increase reach and credibility.
Insights & Reporting
- Monitor and report on brand performance using analytics tools and social listening.
- Translate insights into actionable improvements for campaigns and content.
- Benchmark against competitors and best-in-class brands.
- Provide regular reports to the board on brand health and ROI of brand-led initiatives.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in brand management, ideally within FMCG, consumer goods, or lifestyle brands.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to present confidently to senior stakeholders and in board meetings.
- Demonstrated success in building engaged communities and managing PR strategies.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience testing and scaling new marketing channels or strategies.
- A creative, proactive, and collaborative mindset.
