We are looking for a Senior Treasury Analyst in London to join the Snap Inc. Treasury team! As a member of the treasury team, you will support our APAC and EMEA treasury operations, allowing us to be compliant with local banking requirements and regulations and ensuring that we have the appropriate processes and support in place to allow our business to scale.
What you’ll do:
- Support all Treasury Operations activities for the regions which include managing liquidity, forecasting, reviewing currency exposures and executing trades, executing funding transactions and settling investment, debt and intercompany loan payments, as well as supporting a number of local/foreign payments and banking related activities within markets that are highly regulated.
- Support banking account opening, closing, KYC (Know-Your-Customer) documentation, and provide support for country-specific regulatory/compliance banking requirements.
- Facilitate and maintain daily activities within the Treasury Management System (Kyriba), including cash reconciliation, forecasting, reporting requirements, dashboards and ensuring our controls are being adhered to.
- Ensure signatories and banking portals are maintained and up to date.
- Partner with Tax, Legal, and Accounting teams to execute distributions, capitalizations, intercompany loans, and other treasury operations projects.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Global Treasury operations experience including banking/cash operations and cash management/forecasting.
- Prior work experience in multiple areas within treasury (Cash Management, Treasury Operations, Compliance and FX).
- Good understanding of GAAP/IFRS accounting standards.
- Strong experience using various Treasury, banking, and financial reporting systems.
- Experience with local regulations and compliance requirements within India, China and other key APAC markets and EMEA markets.
- Strong curiosity and willingness to learn and improve processes.
- Self-starter who can operate effectively and accurately in a deadline-driven fast-paced environment.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills, and superior attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
- A proactive, self-directed approach with the ability to multi-task, think creatively, and learn quickly.
- Detail-oriented with strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently as well as collaborate across multiple teams in various time zones.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant treasury professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in tech or digital media industries.
- Experience in global corporate treasury for a publicly traded company.
- Experience using Kyriba TMS and Oracle ERP.
