Job Description
We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and caring veterinary surgeon to join our team at our MiNightVet clinic in Hillsborough, Co Down.
Our MiNightVet service complements our fantastic day team at Cromlyn House Veterinary Hospital. You will help provide the out of hours service for a large number of local first opinion member practices in the area, as well as see a variety of Northern Ireland Veterinary Specialists inpatients, in addition to Cromlyn House inpatients.
We pride ourselves on high standards of care and are looking for someone passionate about working to these same values. We are a fully equipped RCVS approved Veterinary Hospital.
The Team:
You will enjoy working with an energetic, motivated and experienced team of Vets, Nurses and support staff providing triage and intensive care at an excellent standard to a variety of interesting cases involving both emergency patients and in-patients.
Applicant requirements:
This role would suit an experienced and confident veterinary surgeon with excellent communication and organisation skills who can deliver high quality care to emergency and critical patients.
Working Hours:
This annualised contract is based on a 1 week on and 2 weeks off pattern.
- 1:3 week of nights on duty
- 19:00-08:00, Monday to Monday
- 1:6 weekend days: 07:30-19:30,Saturday and Sunday
- Two bank holidays per year: 07:30-19:30
Salary for this role is dependent on experience.
