What will you be doing at Miniclip?
- Design and develop outstanding gameplay experiences and features that drive strong player engagement, retention, and monetization.
- Take ownership of mission gameplay design and implementation, collaborating closely with other disciplines to craft compelling moment-to-moment gameplay.
- Contribute as a key member of the product team throughout the game’s lifecycle, from development through live operations, creating high-impact gameplay content updates.
- Plan, prototype, and implement mission designs in Unity using proprietary tools and editors, delivering content from concept to final polish.
- Collaborate with engineering and tools teams to iterate and enhance internal systems for mission and gameplay implementation.
- Support and mentor junior designers by providing feedback, sharing knowledge, and contributing to a culture of learning and excellence.
- Present and communicate design ideas clearly across the team, aligning with the game’s vision and core pillars.
- Review and iterate on gameplay designs and mission implementation during both production and post-release phases, incorporating stakeholder feedback and player data.
- Contribute to identifying new trends, genres, and opportunities within the mobile space to help expand the company’s creative portfolio.

What are we looking for?
- Significant professional experience on action/shooter titles, ideally in the mobile games space.
- Strong expertise in level and gameplay design, with a deep understanding of player flow, combat mechanics, and pacing.
- Track record of working across multiple product lifecycles, from prototyping through live service support.
- Experience supporting and mentoring other designers, providing constructive feedback and contributing to their growth.
- Deep familiarity with Unity, with hands-on experience creating, optimizing, and debugging gameplay features and content.
- Comprehensive understanding of the mobile and social gaming landscape, with experience designing for engagement, retention, and monetization.
- Comfort working with game analytics and player data to inform design decisions and content balancing.
