Miniclip has grown substantially over the last few years; not just in terms of revenues and headcount, but also in complexity as the company has combined organic growth with M&A activity. To support our ambitious growth strategy, we have built a new structure for the Commercial Finance Team in which a Finance Business Partner will partner with select Studios and bring FP&A support to the next level. Reporting to the Finance Business Partner Manager, this role offers exposure to senior management, including the Head of FP&A & CFO, as well as the senior stakeholders across all game studios. You will be providing vital insight and business partner support to key stakeholders and helping to influence the company's ability to make decisions to further its strategic goals. What will you be doing at Miniclip?
- Commercial Support: Act as the primary commercial partner for Studio Directors, influencing decision-making to align with Miniclip's strategic goals.
- Performance Insights: Lead monthly trade decks and operational reviews, providing senior management with data-driven commentary on studio performance.
- FP&A Ownership: Drive the end-to-end budgeting and forecasting cycle for dedicated studios, ensuring all assumptions are validated and variances explained.
- Growth & Metrics: Support long-term strategic planning and define success metrics for new game launches.
- Scalable Processes: Identify and implement process improvements and system enhancements to support company growth.
- Risk Management: Proactively monitor risks and opportunities, identifying efficiencies to enhance business performance.
What are we looking for?
- Professional Experience & Qualifications
- Qualified Finance Professional: Hold an ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualification (or equivalent).
- Commercial Track Record: Proven experience in a commercial-facing or business partnering role, ideally within the tech or gaming sector.
- Technical Mastery: Highly proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office, with a preference for candidates familiar with Dynamics 365.
- Strategic & Analytical Mindset
- Data-Driven Problem Solver: Ability to identify patterns across complex data sets to develop actionable strategies and recommendations.
- Integrity & Judgment: A high level of integrity when handling sensitive, confidential information and the ability to work self-sufficiently.
