We need someone who gets energised by solving problems, not just identifying them.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Draft, negotiate and close commercial agreements across the mobile gaming value chain including user acquisition partnerships, advertising monetisation and ad tech arrangements, and publishing deals.
- Take ownership of transactions from inception through to completion, managing stakeholder expectations and timelines.
- Build and maintain contract templates and playbooks that scale with the business.
- Review and negotiate vendor agreements, partnerships, and other commercial arrangements.
- Negotiate and advise on game development and co-development agreements, including milestone structures, IP ownership, and revenue share arrangements.
What We’re Looking For
- 3-5 years PQE with at least 2 years gained in-house. (PQE is given as a guide only; we are happy to consider candidates who fall outside this range).
- Strong commercial contracting experience with demonstrable ability to negotiate complex deals.
- Comfort operating across a range of legal disciplines, you’re not a narrow specialist and you’re happy to pick up unfamiliar areas quickly.
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales.
- Nice to have: Mobile gaming or mobile apps experience - you understand the mobile ecosystem.
The qualities that matter most
- Commercially astute: You understand what the business is trying to achieve and find ways to make it happen legally.
- Learning agility: You move fast into new areas, ask the right questions, and get up to speed without needing to be the expert before you can add value.
