CVM World is a leading UK van conversion specialist. We’re experiencing continued growth across our Minibus, Welfare and Bespoke vehicle conversions and need to expand our team accordingly. As a family owned and managed business, we provide employment opportunities that allow a healthy work-life balance and have successfully introduced a 9-day working fortnight meaning that employees can benefit from in excess of 20 extra days off each year.

As a coach builder in our production team, you’ll be integral to the Company’s growth plans. We specialise in converting Peugeot Boxer and Vauxhall Movano panel vans into minibuses, some of which are fully accessible with either on-board or underfloor lifts and electric steps. However, we build on all vehicles, including electric and high-quality used vans and it is an exciting time to join the company as we look to expand our production capacity.

The Role of the Coach Builder:

Ideally you will have experience of light commercial vehicle conversions and/or van conversions including experience of window and seat fitting. Experience of fitting heaters and other devices would be an advantage but is not essential, as this will be taught. Other skills could include joinery, carpet trimming or general engineering/sheet metalwork. You should have good hand to eye coordination, be good with hand tools, be a hard-working team player and be able to produce work of a high standard. Good attention to detail and an excellent work ethic are essential. For the right candidate we’re able to provide advancement opportunities, as we are keen to recognise and invest in our staff.

Key Requirements of a Coach Builder:

  • A positive attitude and solution focused approach – A willingness to recognise issues & suggest opportunities for improvement
  • Team Player – A desire to work co-operatively to achieve common goals
  • Organised – The ability to work to deadlines
  • Flexible – A willingness to adapt and support colleagues as required

In working for the CVM World Group of companies, (Car World, Van World and Minibus World) you’ll be joining a leading and rapidly growing, second stage motor vehicle manufacturer who converts a range of manufacturer supplied base vehicles. Our Minibus and Welfare conversions are design approved by Ford and Stellantis (Peugeot, Vauxhall, Citroen & Fiat) and widely recognised as market leading products. We have a strong, supportive culture across our production and administrative areas of the business, where every individual is given a voice in the company’s direction.

If you have the skills, expertise and ability to embody our company ethos; then please apply today.
