Trade Nation is seeking an experienced partnerships professional to oversee and deliver our existing sponsorship portfolio during a transition period. The 6 month contract role will be responsible for day-to-day management and activation of key partnerships, ensuring full delivery of rights, seamless stakeholder management, and integration of partnerships into the wider marketing ecosystem. This is a hands-on delivery role, ideal for someone with strong brand and partnerships experience who can own ongoing relationships and activations from day one. The role will also support the management and activation of financial events, influencer partnerships and podcast collaborations, as well as the delivery of Trade Nation's evolving partnerships strategy and contract negotiation for future partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Partnership Delivery & Rights Management: Overseeing the delivery of all contractual rights across Trade Nation's sponsorship portfolio.
- Rights holder liaison: Acting as the day-to-day point of contact for rights holders, ensuring smooth execution and effective issue resolution.
- Rights tracking: Tracking rights delivery to ensure all assets, benefits and obligations are fulfilled through to the end of the season.
- Activation support: Managing and supporting Trade Nation's involvement in sponsoring financial events, influencer partnerships and podcast collaborations.
- Compliance and branding: Ensuring all activity aligns with compliance requirements, brand guidelines and commercial objectives.
- Content and storytelling: Working with internal teams to maximise content, CRM and storytelling opportunities arising from partnerships.
- Event delivery: Planning, managing and delivering Trade Nation golf days with Mashie Golf, including venue coordination, guest management, rights holder liaison and on-site execution.
- Ticketing and hospitality: Managing all partnership ticketing and hospitality allocations across sponsorships.
- Logistics: Coordinating guest lists, invitations, approvals and on-the-day logistics.
- Stakeholder alignment: Liaising with internal stakeholders and rights holders to ensure a premium guest experience and strong brand alignment.
- Performance reporting: Acting as a key point of contact for senior management and the executive team, reporting on partnership performance and providing insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Strategy evolution: Supporting the delivery of Trade Nation's evolving partnerships strategy, implementing new approaches and managing transitions in activity.
- Future opportunities: Assisting with the evaluation, onboarding and activation planning of future partnership opportunities.
- Commercial negotiations: Supporting commercial discussions and contract negotiations with prospective partners, working closely with legal, compliance and senior stakeholders.
Internal Collaboration & Marketing Integration
- Working closely with Social, Brand and CRM teams to integrate partnerships into wider marketing campaigns.
- Aligning partnership activity with commercial and brand objectives.
- Ensuring partnership activity is communicated clearly across internal teams.
- Supporting the development of recommendations for future partnership strategy.
- Contributing to transition documentation and handover materials for post-June planning.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading sponsorships/partnerships in at least one of the following: sport, gaming/esports/e-gaming, financial services or media/publisher partnerships, with end-to-end delivery.
- Strong understanding of rights delivery, activation and rights-holder relationships.
- Understanding of financial compliance and industry regulations surrounding partnerships in the industry.
- Experience managing ticketing processes, hospitality and live events.
- Highly organised, detail driven and comfortable managing multiple stakeholders.
- Confident working cross-functionally with marketing, CRM and sales teams.
- Able to operate autonomously and take ownership in an interim environment.
- Comfortable stepping into an existing portfolio and delivering immediately.
