We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine techniques, ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate results. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment, utilising advanced imaging technology such as MRI and CT scans.
The ideal applicant will possess:
- DCR or BSc in Radiography
- Postgraduate qualification in Nuclear Medicine
- A minimum of two years post-qualification experience in Nuclear Medicine
- Broad knowledge of routine and complex Nuclear Medicine Imaging techniques
- Evidence of professional development
- Good knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, national standards, professional and other guidelines associated with Nuclear Medicine relating to Radiation Protection and Health & Safety
- Working experience with Information Systems, Nuclear Medicine processing software and PACS
- Articulate, diplomatic, flexible and calm demeanour
- Enthusiasm for the promotion of Nuclear Medicine and professional standards
- PET/CT experience (desired)
- Experience with Siemens imaging equipment and MIM processing software
