We’re looking for Physiotherapists who enjoy making a difference in people's lives every day.

If you are looking for a break from shift work or are seeking a new, exciting career opportunity to develop and enhance your physio skills and still be able to utilise your physio skills but differently, helping people, apply and become a Functional Assessor.

You will carry out assessments to understand how a person’s disability or health condition affects their daily life and produce factual reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits.

What we look for:

  • A HCPC-registered adult physiotherapist with at least 1 year’s broad post-registration experience in the UK
  • A proactive and keen learner with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Someone comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports
  • An expert clinician comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including complex cases and mental health conditions

This role is a great opportunity for registered physiotherapists to develop their clinical knowledge and hone their assessment skills further, all while helping people move forward with their lives.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Conduct telephone, video or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life
  • Produce Work Capability Assessment (WCA) reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine a person’s eligibility for benefits
  • Develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills with the support of regular feedback and supervision
