- You will carry out assessments to understand how a person’s disability or health condition affects their daily life and produce factual reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Conduct telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.
- Produce Work Capability Assessment (WCA) reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine a person’s eligibility for benefits.
- Develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills with the support of regular feedback and supervision.
What we look for:
- An HCPC-registered professional with at least 1 year’s broad post-registration experience in the UK.
- A proactive and keen learner with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Someone comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports.
- An expert clinician comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including complex cases and mental health conditions.
