We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine techniques, ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate results. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment, utilising advanced imaging technology such as MRI and CT scans.

The ideal applicant will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of IT systems related to medical imaging, and a compassionate approach to patient care.

  • DCR or BSc in Radiography
  • Postgraduate qualification in Nuclear Medicine
  • A minimum of two years post-qualification experience in Nuclear Medicine
  • Broad knowledge of routine and complex Nuclear Medicine Imaging techniques
  • Evidence of professional development
  • Good knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, national standards, professional and other guidelines associated with Nuclear Medicine relating to Radiation Protection and Health & Safety
  • Working experience with Information Systems, Nuclear Medicine processing software and PACS
  • Articulate, diplomatic, flexible and calm
  • Enthusiasm for the promotion of Nuclear Medicine and professional standards
  • PET/CT experience desired
  • Experience with Siemens imaging equipment and MIM processing software
