✨Know Your Stuff
Make sure you brush up on your nursing knowledge, especially around assessments and report writing. Familiarise yourself with the types of disabilities and health conditions you might encounter, as well as the DWP's processes. This will show that you're not just qualified, but also genuinely interested in making a difference.
✨Showcase Your Communication Skills

Get comfortable with the computer software you'll be using to produce reports. If you have experience with specific programmes, mention them during the interview. If not, consider doing a quick online tutorial to familiarise yourself with common reporting tools used in healthcare settings.
✨Emphasise Your Learning Mindset
This role values proactive learners, so be ready to discuss how you've continued your professional development. Share examples of courses, workshops, or experiences that have helped you grow as a nurse. This shows that you're committed to improving your skills and staying updated in the field.
