You will carry out assessments to understand how a person’s disability or health condition affects their daily life and produce factual reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits. An NMC-registered adult or mental health nurse with at least 1 year’s broad post-registration experience in the UK Someone comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports An expert clinician comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including complex cases and mental health conditions This role is a great opportunity for registered nurses to develop their clinical knowledge and hone their assessment skills further, all while helping people move forward with their lives.
