An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Senior Commercial Broker to join a progressive and growing insurance team. This senior-level position offers a mix of client relationship management and new business development, with the benefit of an existing book of commercial clients and the chance to further grow your own portfolio across the UK and EU/EEA markets.

Key Responsibilities- Manage and service an existing book of commercial clients, ranging from SMEs to large corporates.
- Maintain strong, long-term client relationships through outstanding service and advice.
- Grow the book through:
- Cross-selling opportunities and new business development.
- Developing insurer facilities across the UK and EU/EEA.
- Enhancing existing schemes and targeting new markets.
- 7+ years' experience in General Commercial Insurance.
- 3+ years' experience in generating and placing new commercial business.
- A strong track record of handling complex commercial risks in a senior capacity.
- Experience with broking in the EU/EEA is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of insuring businesses that trade internationally is an advantage.
- Confident communicator, capable of engaging at board level with clients.
- Able to coach and support junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Excellent technical insurance knowledge and understanding of market trends.
- Full UK driving licence required.
- 25 days holiday (increasing annually to a max of 30 days) plus bank holidays.
