Location: Hybrid – Home, Client Sites & Head Office

Hours: 39 hours per week Mon–Thu 9:00–6:00 | Fri 9:00–5:00

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation within the Private Client, Estate Planning and Financial Services sector. This Private Client Consultant role focuses on delivering expert advice to clients who have accessed Will writing services through an employee benefits platform. This position is ideal for a legally qualified professional with strong experience in Wills, Trusts, LPAs and Estate Planning, who enjoys client interaction and providing empathetic, compliant advice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on Wills, Trusts, LPAs, Probate and Estate Planning
  • Advise clients on wealth preservation and inheritance tax considerations
  • Draft, amend and finalise Wills and LPAs within strict SLAs
  • Build trusted, long-term client relationships through a bespoke service
  • Prepare and submit LPAs, including OPG registrations
  • Follow up with clients to gather information and answer queries
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and legal documentation
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders
  • Attend client roadshows and regional meetings (overnight stays required)
  • Identify opportunities for referrals to additional services
  • Support wider business areas during peak periods
  • Commit to ongoing professional development and qualifications

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree in Law (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in Wills, Trusts, Probate and Estate Planning
  • Previous experience within Financial Services (e.g. Life Insurance, Mortgages)
  • STEP or CILEX qualified (or working towards)
  • Minimum 2 years’ client-facing experience
  • Strong drafting and technical legal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • High attention to detail and strong time management
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Clean UK driving licence
  • Ability to travel to London and Head Office regularly
