Our client are looking for Tradesmen to work over the Essex, London, Cambridgeshire areas, you will be working for local Councils and Housing Associations.
You will need to have previous proven experience doing this work, able to drive as the work is not always in one area and flexible that you are able to travel.
While working as a Multi-Skilled Tradesperson, you will be required to:
- Perform a wide range of construction tasks across different trades, such as carpentry, bricklaying, plumbing, electrical work, plastering, tiling, and more.
- Use your skills and knowledge to complete assigned tasks efficiently and to a high standard of quality.
- Follow project plans, specifications, and instructions to ensure accurate execution of work.
- Asses required materials, tools, and equipment for specific tasks.
- Organise and prepare materials, tools, and equipment for efficient use during the project.
- Conduct repairs and installations of various components, fixtures, and systems according to project requirements.
- Identify and resolve issues that arise during repairs or installations, employing problem-solving skills.
- Ensure proper functioning, alignment, and safety of installed components.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and best practices on the construction site.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure its proper utilisation by oneself and others.
- Follow established safety protocols to prevent accidents and promote a secure working environment.
- Analyse challenges and obstacles encountered during construction tasks.
- Develop creative and effective solutions to address problems and ensure project progress.
- Adapt to changing project requirements and adjusting work methods accordingly.
