Job Title: Nurse Functional Assessor\\n\\nLocation: Newcastle\\n\\nSalary: £37,800 per annum\\n\\nJob Type: Hybrid Permanent/ Mon-Friday 37.5hrs per week\\n\\nJob Overview\\n\\nGreat opportunities: full-time, part-time, hybrid/Remote 2 days from home (full/Part-time choose 3,4 or 5 days)\\n\\nWe’re looking for registered adult or mental health nurses who enjoy making a difference in people's lives every day.\\n\\nIf you are looking for a break from shift work or are seeking a new, exciting career opportunity to develop and enhance your nursing skills, and still be able to utilise your nursing skills but differently, helping people, apply and become a Functional Assessor.\\n\\nYou will carry out assessments to understand how a person’s disability or health condition affects their daily life and produce factual reports to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits.\\n\\nWhat we look for:\\n\\n * An NMC-registered adult or mental health nurse with at least 1 year’s broad post-registration experience in the UK\\n\\n * A proactive and keen learner with excellent oral and written communication skills\\n\\n * Someone comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports\\n\\n * An expert clinician comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including complex cases and mental health conditions\\n\\nThis role is a great opportunity for registered nurses to develop their clinical knowledge and hone their assessment skills further, all while helping people move forward with their lives.\\n\\nGreat Benefits Package\\n\\n * Competitive Salary: £37,800pa\\n\\n * Opportunities to increase Income (Overtime & Incentives)\\n\\n * Annual Bonus scheme\\n\\n * Various company-wide benefits that promote financial well-being.\\n\\n * We offer Nurses full-time, part-time, and hybrid working opportunities\\n\\n * Dedicated team to support with Revalidation and ongoing CPD\\n\\n * Protected time for CPD and clinical development, which counts towards revalidation\\n\\n * Maternity and Paternity packages for nurses (18 weeks of full maternity Pay), including adoption & surrogacy, and 6 weeks of full paternity pay.\\n\\n * Other support includes neonatal/premature paid leave, pregnancy loss paid leave, and child bereavement leave.\\n\\n * We offer a Healthcare Cash Plan\\n\\n * Pension Plan\\n\\n * We offer 25 days of annual leave, increasing to 27 days after five years with the company
