To be eligible for this role, you must have a minimum of 6 months’ recent experience working as a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) within an NHS or Private Hospital in the UK.
Minerva Nursing is currently recruiting experienced Hospital Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to support a private hospital in central London. Due to increased demand, we are looking for caring, enthusiastic and reliable HCAs who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. Whether you’re looking for full-time hours, part-time flexibility or longer-term block bookings, we have opportunities that may suit your availability.
The Role
As a Hospital Healthcare Assistant, you’ll work alongside Registered Nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, compassionate and person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality personal care and support to patients
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, mobility, nutrition and hydration
- Take and record clinical observations where trained and competent
- Recognise and report changes in a patient’s condition
- Maintain accurate patient documentation
- Support infection prevention and control procedures
- Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Maintain patient dignity, privacy and confidentiality
- Follow safeguarding procedures and organisational policies
- Deliver compassionate and professional patient care at all times
To be considered, you must have:
- Minimum 6 months’ recent UK hospital experience as a Healthcare Assistant
- Experience within an NHS or Private Hospital setting
- A caring, compassionate and professional approach
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence working within a busy clinical environment
- The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- A good understanding of patient dignity, confidentiality and safeguarding
- A flexible, reliable and positive approach to work
- A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
- Willingness and ability to complete the required compliance process within 7–10 days
