We are seeking a highlyorganised and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our Central FinanceTeam. Workingunder the direction of the Transactional Finance Manager, you will play animportant role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Trust's day-to-dayfinancial processes.
You will support a wide rangeof transactional finance activities, including procurement, purchase ledger,income collection, banking and supplier administration. The role will provideexposure to all aspects of finance operations and offers an excellentfoundation for further professional development within a large and growingorganisation.
About the Role
As Finance Assistant you will:
- Support theadministration of the Trust's finance operations, procurement andfinancial processes.
- Processincome and expenditure transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist withpurchase ordering, goods receipt administration and invoice processing.
- Performroutine reconciliations and financial reporting activities.
- Postcashbook transactions and undertake bank reconciliations.
- Supportcash flow monitoring and forecasting activities.
- Work withschools to ensure prompt collection of income.
- Liaise withsuppliers and support the resolution of routine financial queries.
- Administerand reconcile the Trust's procurement card arrangements.
- Maintainaccurate financial records in accordance with Trust policies andprocedures
